Mercy Triumphs Judgment – A Lecture and Study Series on the Book of James with Beth Moore
In this 8 week study, see how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever, Jesus’ own brother, into a disciple. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.

Priscilla shows you how your time in God’s Word can be a two-way conversation with the Father. She’ll mentor you as you develop your own conversations with God through Scripture.

The ABC’s of Motherhood – A Devotion and Bible Study Series by Sally Clarkson – The Mission of Motherhood
Come and join us as we continue the ABC’s of Motherhood. Special speakers are lined up to equip women (both single and married) with the Word of God and all kinds of skills for making your home a God-centered hub for marriage and family life. Our goal is to provide a time for you to meet other women of UBC and the community and to be encouraged and lifted up in your spiritual role as a woman, wife, or mother. Devotions and Bible study will be led from the book by Sally Clarkson – The Mission of Motherhood. Some of the practical skills that will be included in this year’s sessions along with our book study will be demonstrations in quilting, knitting/crocheting, basics in sewing, how to be an encourager, keeping your house in order, in-laws, family and holiday traditions, cooking and hospitality, quiet time with God, and many more! Bring a neighbor or friend! Keep checking here for updates. Registration Fee (Jan-May): $25.00 Please register and sign up for childcare at the ConnectingPoint in the Sanctuary Foyer before Sept. 13th.
