LifeGroups
LifeGroups are community / geographic based home groups that will meet every other week for the purpose of accomplishing our PASSION by equipping one another to live life in biblical community. These groups meet together regularly in a non-church setting to help us pursue this goal on a very personal and practical level through:
- Encouraging one another day after day in our battle against attitudes of unbelief which arise in our hearts to steal our joy in God (Hebrews 3:12-13; 10:23-25).
- The building up of one another in faith through the use of spiritual gifts which God freely distributes to His body as He wills for the purpose of edification, so that we might become mature in Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16; I Corinthians 12:4-11; 14:12,26; Hebrews 2:4).
- Pursuing our joy in God through the multiplication of worshipers for the glory of God in our communities and beyond.
Based on Acts 2:42-47, LifeGroups are family-integrated, based on geographic locations, in order to support the family and reach other families in the communities we call “home.”
Beginning the week of August 28th, LifeGroups will meet every other week on Sundays at 6:00pm, with the hope that in the “off” week disciple-making relationships will be established.LifeGroups are led by gifted and trained leaders. Every group is unique, due to the blend of gifts, interests and personalities of group leaders and members.
