Man is not the key player in history; God is the engineer of all life, and His purposes are fulfilled throughout history. The CDG curriculum purposefully presents God as the main character in each lesson, rather than dwelling on man and man’s needs. Therefore, each lesson focuses on the magnificent character of the One who can satisfy all our longings. Showing children the greatness of God gives them a basis to respond to Him. This curriculum presents a great God who is worthy to be admired and imitated.
“The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. CHILDREN DESIRING GOD SUNDAY SCHOOL
9:00-10:15am (2nd Floor Sanctuary) Age-appropriate, chronological study of the stories of the bible focusing on life application and scripture memorization through a fun and active learning process.
REUNITE WITH YOUR FAMILY
10:15-10:30am Parents will pick up their children from the classrooms and move into the main sanctuary for Worship Service. Worship Activity Bags are available for check out at the ConnectingPoint Desk in the Sanctuary Foyer for 1st and 2nd graders use during the Worship Service.
