MINISTRIES

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

Ephesians 4:11-16 (ESV)

Every Christian is commanded to use their gifts for the purpose of glorifying God, edifying other believers and promoting the gospel. The pastors of the church are called to proclaim the matchless truth of God’s Word and pray earnestly, equipping the saints for works of service. Essentially, this is a team effort! But this cannot be minimized to some sports analogy, the church is to be a force that God has chosen to sovereignly and graciously set apart for His purposes.

Every form of equipping that we do at UBC is biblically-centered, cross-driven and Christ-exalting. Whether you attend a Bible Fellowship on Sunday mornings, our main Worship gathering or an evening service, our prayer is that your joy in Christ is deepened in understanding and practice.

In addition to these ministries, we offer ministries to Children, Youth and College. Even though we offer ministries by age, the greater weight of our ministry is geared toward the WHOLE FAMILY being integrated. You can find more information by clicking on the appropriate links.
